The author is a service dog owner with strong drive to educate the public on the partner relationship of service animals, societal problems they often encounter, and the laws involving service animals.

Over the author’s lifetime, they have been partnered with two service dogs. Their current service dog is a labrador & great dane mix, and their previous (retired) service dog is a golden retriever.
